NATASCIA GAZZANA, Violinist

Natascia received her diploma in violin at only seventeen years of age, at the ‘S. Cecilia’ Conservatory in Rome, with teachers Fulvio Montanaro and Beatrice Antonioni.
She continued her studies in Switzerland with Corrado Romano in Geneva and later studied at the Conservatory of Lausanne, where she received the ‘Diplôme de Virtuosité de Violon’ under the tutelage of Pierre Amoyal.
Natascia attended master classes in Brussels, where she had the honour of performing for Sir Yehudi Menuhin, in Bern with Igor Ozim, in Fiesole with Mariana Sirbu, in Salzburg with Ruggiero Ricci…
With her sister, pianist Raffaella, Natascia attended several chamber music master classes all around Europe: in Siena, at the ‘Accademia Chigiana’ with Uto Ughi and Corrado Romano, in Lausanne at the ‘Académie de Musique de Chambre du Conservatoire de Lausanne’ with Pierre Amoyal and Pavel Gililov, in Fiesole at ‘The three-year Master class of Chamber Music’ with the ‘Trio di Milano’ and in Lausanne at the ‘Atelier de Musique de Chambre du Conservatoire de Lausanne’ with Piero Farulli.
Natascia holds a degree in Figurative Arts at “La Sapienza University of Rome.
She is specialized in violin pedagogy and taught for three years at “DEMI Project” at the “Scuola di Musica di Fiesole”.
Natascia and her sister, pianist Raffaella, form the internationally acclaimed “Duo Gazzana”.
The Duo won numerous awards and scholarships and can be seen performing throughout Europe and increasingly around the Globe.
